WCTI achieves claim cost control by:
- Prompt investigation of all claims
- Establishment of three-point contact (injured employee, employer and treating physician) within 24 hours for all indemnity claims
- Specific claim representatives assigned to each WCTI member
- Medical cost management and case management
- Utilization of Transitional Employment (light duty return-to-work) Program
- Regular contact with employer regarding: status of claim, trial dates, settlement recommendation, return to work.
