CCSFI achieves claims cost control by:
- investigating all claims promptly.
- establishing a three-point contact (injured employee, employer and treating physician) within 24 hours for all indemnity claims.
- assigning specific claim representatives to each CCSFI member.
- providing efficient case and medical cost management.
- utilizing the Transitional Employment (light duty, return-to-work) Program.
- maintaining regular contact with each employer regarding: claim status, trial dates, settlement recommendation and return to work.
